Our COVID-19 Information for You

Dear Clients and Parents –

Our staff is humbled by the trust you have placed in us, especially during this time. Thank you for your continued perseverance as we respond to the public health situation with COVID-19/Coronavirus.

We’ve received encouraging feedback from clients who’ve been receiving sessions online or on the phone with their providers. Several clients shared their telehealth sessions have been helpful to them during this time of high stress and uncertainty. So, if you have cancelled recent in-person appointments with the hope of seeing your provider after the safer at home order is lifted, we encourage you to consider scheduling a telehealth session in the interim.

Our clinic uses a HIPAA compliant platform to deliver Telehealth services and we continue to conduct our work with the same high ethical standards you’ve come to expect from us. If you have questions or concerns regarding telehealth services for you or your child, please feel free to contact your provider.

To participate in telehealth services, you will need the following three things:
  1. internet access
  2. a device with a camera & microphone (smartphones are not ideal, but can be used if necessary)
  3. an area of privacy to engage in confidential therapy.

A child participating in Telehealth will require a parent to remain at their home (not necessarily in the same room) during the session in case the provider needs to consult with the parent.

Please sign and submit the “Informed Consent for Telehealth” form online here before your first telehealth session with your provider (if you have not done so already). Your permission is required to engage in telehealth services and the form includes information regarding the differences between telehealth and in-person services.

Most insurance companies are funding telehealth for medical and mental health services due to the public response to COVID-19/Coronavirus. We recommend you check with your insurance company to confirm coverage of telehealth services. Any charges that are not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the client/parent.

You are in our prayers and we appreciate your willingness to work with our staff through this change in services. Stay home, Stay safe!

Blessings,
